Queen Mary Sailing Club 2009
|
|
|
Through the partnership with Queen Mary Sailing Club, the Club offers
the members a programme to take up a sport of sailing Laser Strados
(or any other Laser) at the reservoir in June 2009, which is situated
one miles to the west of M3 junction 1 in west London.

The club enjoys
a special position of enjoy an unobstructed wind most of the time, where
most of nearby sailing clubs cannot enjoy the same privilege.
The clubhouse offers the use of the changing rooms, hot showers,
wet bar lounge, bar and restaurant. There is two boat hoists each
equipped with a drag winch that allow the sailors to launch and
recover their dinghy.
This is an ideal venue for visitors to gain more experience beyond level 2. The
club also offers all amenities that you would need to integrate yourself into
regular sailing community.

|
Once the members are well acquainted with the club, they can
choose to enter the club racing and open events where they would
enjoy developing further their racing and day sailing skills as
well as competing with fellow sailors.
They can also take the advantage of advanced training within the club,
right up to RYA National Sailing Scheme once they have completed their
RYA Level 2 skills. They include RYA Seamanship, RYA
Sailing with Spinnakers, RYA Performance Sailing,
RYA Start Race, and RYA Instructor courses.
